Design a modern website to meet the needs of resellers/dealers including a way to create quotes and purchase orders. The web site needs to be mobile friendly with a clean, modern design that provides the best way to display all furniture designs, layouts and options.
Previous Web Site
The previous site had a dated design without online purchase capabilities. The structure was straight html and was not responsive or mobile friendly.
Competitor Research
Local and National competitors were reviewed for design, content and usability. Taking into consideration industry standard terminology and structure while reviewing features, colors and designs for the furniture.
Sitemap
The sitemap was updated to reflect usability and industry standards.
Wireframes
Wireframes were developed to visually test the usability of the page layouts.
Product Renderings
It was a challenge to photograph assembled desks in varied locations so rendering companies were sourced to create renderings from 3D models. Detailed instructions with colors, fabric samples and handles to ensure quality renderings that were modern and visually appealing.
Mockups
Mockups were developed for the home page and product pages that included high-resolution samples for finishes, fabrics and edge details.
Mobile Mockups
Designers in the field often need to view wood and fabric colors. Mobile friendly layouts provided easy access to all colors and design options.
Order Entry Prototype
Developed prototypes for customer order entry system to easily order custom desks using simple point-and-click navigation.
