Government Education
(school Project)
This was a personal project while in a U/X U/I Bootcamp at University of Arizona. The challenge was to redesign a Government website with User Experience as the key focus. Empathy and current methodologies were used to work through the design process.
Existing Website
The current site did not follow organization heuristics making it difficult for users to sort through large quantities of information.

Card Sort
Card sorting exercises were used to help determine the categories that could organize and contain large amount of information in an intuitive way.

Sitemap
The final sitemap was developed after deciphering the results of the card sorting exercises.

Wireframes
Wireframes were developed to determine the best layout to achieve the desired hierarchy

Header and Footer
A simple design was developed for the header and footer.

Design System
A new color scheme and button style was created to help in the final site development

Prototypes
Working prototypes were developed to test the usability and structure of the navigation.
